One of the most significant changes in the research industry over the past decade has been the adoption of online research tools. Online research is quickly becoming the standard for many companies when gathering feedback from the market. Since 1998 PMG has been helping our clients with their online research needs utilizing our proprietary online research service, eSight®. Utilizing our online research capabilities many of our clients have implemented studies usually executed using more traditional research methods.

eSight ®has many advantages over traditional research methods:

Quicker turnaround - Online research has the ability to be extremely time efficient as multiple respondents can complete surveys simultaneously. Typically this can result in a 20% or greater savings in terms of time in field. This is of particular value to companies whose informational needs are of a time sensitive nature.

More interactive - Online surveys can show pictures, videos, or audio clips. This gives respondents a better understanding of what is being measured.

Private and secure – The eSight® website is extremely secure. Email addresses can’t be used for any other purpose ensuring the respondent’s privacy is protected

Increased value – Generally speaking online research is less expensive than telephone surveys

Representative – Clients can reliably compare the views of groups by age, gender, region and many other characteristics

Truthfulness – There is a growing belief that online respondents give more truthful responses to questions, in particular when probing sensitive or potentially embarrassing material.

Types of studies we have been engaged in using our eSight® service include;

Customer Satisfaction - If there is one type of study we have performed more than any other for our clients it’s customer satisfaction. PMG has designed several studies for clients trying to better understand where they stand in terms of customer satisfaction. Similar to our more traditional methods of gathering research, PMG has the philosophy where we measure customer delight rather than satisfaction to truly understand loyalty.
